From April 15 to 17, WEPACK 2026 was grandly held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao’an New Hall). As an international benchmark event in the packaging and printing industry, this exhibition reached an unprecedented scale—bringing together over 1,000 leading companies worldwide and professional visitors from 130 countries, with more than 150,000 on-site attendees.
XGEN Robot made a remarkable appearance with a full-chain intelligent logistics solution rarely seen in the packaging and printing industry. Covering the entire process—from intelligent warehousing construction, robotic handling, dock loading and unloading, to intelligent system management—this end-to-end high-end smart manufacturing solution attracted significant attention from professional visitors and exhibitors both domestically and internationally. During the exhibition, inquiries surged, cooperation intentions increased, and the booth remained highly active.
Four high-frequency scenarios define a new benchmark for intelligent packaging manufacturing
Smart Warehouse Sky – An Industry Benchmark for Eco-friendly Tableware and Intelligent Warehouses
XGEN Robot built an integrated intelligent storage and handling dense warehouse for a leading domestic eco-friendly tableware manufacturer. The project covers 7 storage zones, more than 58,000 storage locations, and high-bay racks up to 31 meters. By innovatively integrating three mainstream solutions—stacker crane AS/RS, pallet four-way shuttle system, and bin four-way shuttle system—it enables intelligent storage and handling of multi-category goods ranging from 50 kg to 2,000 kg, significantly improving unit storage capacity and operational efficiency.
Boundless Transportation – The First Intelligent Transportation Warehouse for Book and Periodical Printing Breaks the Ice
In collaboration with a long-established state-owned printing enterprise, the company developed the first intelligent warehousing and logistics system in the book and periodical printing industry. A fleet of more than 60 FMR autonomous mobile robots enables cluster scheduling and supports zero-downtime renovation of existing factories. After implementation, the system supports 24-hour continuous transfer, achieving a handling efficiency of 61 paper rolls per hour, with automatic identification and uploading of million-level paper order data, realizing full-process digital connectivity from pre-press to in-press and post-press stages.
Code-based management – Intelligent systems enable real-time traceability of each item with a unique code
In this project, XGEN Robot pioneered an automatic plate transfer system. By assigning codes to printing plates and racks and using FMR robots for automated transport, printing plates are precisely delivered from the plate-making room to printing presses, reducing manual labor and enabling full process traceability. At the same time, PDA devices equipped with OCR optical recognition technology can scan original labels from paper mills and automatically upload paper information, ensuring highly accurate, fast, and cost-efficient traceability for million-level material data.
Intelligent control across all fields – Intelligent hardware and software systems provide one-stop service
XGEN Robot’s smart logistics projects typically adopt a three-tier architecture: “top-level planning – intelligent middle platform – hardware execution.” Through intelligent scheduling software and digital twin technology, optimal path planning and real-time control of multiple devices within the factory are achieved. By deploying a complete set of intelligent management systems across business operations, production, warehousing logistics, and equipment scheduling, the solution enables real-time monitoring and full lifecycle management of internal automated logistics operations.
Strategic Upgrading: The South China Ecological Salon Outlines a Broad Blueprint
During the exhibition, XGEN Robot also hosted a South China Ecosystem Salon at the Crowne Plaza Shenzhen. This event marked the accelerated expansion of its ecosystem from its Hefei headquarters to key regions nationwide, and demonstrated the company’s strategic transformation from a “system provider” to an “intelligent logistics value operator,” with a clear and precise market layout.

At the event, XGEN Robot’s Marketing Director, Feng Anshun, introduced three differentiated cooperation models (including independent contracting, project-based collaboration, and regional service partnerships), along with a four-dimensional empowerment system (profit enhancement, capability support, ecosystem synergy, and cloud platform enablement). With a service model integrating “products + solutions + scenarios,” XGEN Robot is opening a differentiated and sustainable path for traditional equipment manufacturers and logistics service providers to achieve intelligent transformation.

In addition to equipment distributors and logistics service providers, representatives from XGEN Robot’s strategic partner, Guangzhou Forlan Co., Ltd., also attended the salon. Together, they explored new collaboration models in the leasing sector, aiming to lower the threshold for intelligent transformation among small and medium-sized enterprises through unmanned forklift leasing, and to unlock a hundred-billion-level intelligent logistics market through ecosystem synergy.

Dual exhibitions, expanding new horizons! From April 13 to 16 (U.S. local time), XGEN Robot also made a strong appearance at MODEX in the United States, showcasing its full-scenario smart logistics solutions integrating intelligent warehousing, robotics, and management systems. The solutions attracted strong attention and engagement from international customers, providing powerful digital and intelligent support for expanding into the North American market, helping local customers reduce costs and improve efficiency, and accelerating the optimization and upgrading of global supply chains.
