On May 22, the finals of the 2026 (2nd) Unmanned Forklift Application Scenario Competition concluded in Qiantang District, Hangzhou. After a full day of intense competition, XGEN Robot (Hefei Jingsong Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.) secured the gold award in the outdoor track with its FMR counterbalanced autonomous forklift, thanks to its stable performance in dock loading/unloading and stacking tasks.

A “Toughest Track” Showdown
The competition was jointly organized by the Qiantang District Development and Reform Bureau and the Mobile Robot Industry Alliance, featuring three major tracks. Among them, the outdoor track—simulating real industrial scenarios such as dock loading/unloading and stacking—is widely regarded as the “most challenging.” Participating equipment had to complete precise positioning, autonomous navigation, and high-level stacking in unstructured environments, placing extremely high demands on technical stability and on-site adaptability.

XGEN Robot’s FMR counterbalanced autonomous forklift demonstrated outstanding operational stability under complex working conditions and ultimately won first place in overall scoring. The award was presented by Ma Chi, Deputy General Manager of SIASUN Mobile Robot, representing the alliance’s chairman unit.
Booth Engagement Exceeds Expectations
At the event, XGEN Robot’s booth attracted significant attention from visitors. According to staff, the number of customer inquiries during the competition “far exceeded expectations.” Many manufacturing companies from sectors such as automotive components, non-ferrous metals, and new energy expressed strong interest in further cooperation. A representative from an automotive parts company in East China noted that their factory is undergoing intelligent logistics upgrades, and XGEN Robot’s expertise and project experience in heavy-duty material handling align closely with their needs.

Technical Strength Backed by 1,900+ Projects
Public information shows that XGEN Robot (stock code: 688251), founded in 2007, is one of the early A-share listed companies in China’s intelligent logistics sector. Its self-developed FMR autonomous forklift series covers a full range of scenarios—from indoor to outdoor operations and from light-duty to heavy-duty loads of up to 35 tons. The solutions have been deployed in over 1,900 projects across more than 30 industries, including metallurgy, automotive parts, new energy, and pharmaceuticals.
At the industry development conference held alongside the competition, XGEN Robot’s technical expert Feng Anshun presented on “AI-Driven Flexible unmanned Forklift Technology Platform and Industrial Practices.” He explained how the company leverages AI algorithms to enhance forklifts’ adaptability to environmental changes, enabling a transition from “automation” to true “intelligence.”

Industry Insight: Rapid Growth in Unmanned Forklift Adoption
According to industry forecasts, the penetration rate of unmanned forklifts in China is entering a phase of rapid growth and is expected to surpass key thresholds within the next three years.
Domestic technology leaders like XGEN Robot are building strong competitive advantages across product innovation, scenario adaptability, and project delivery. The gold award from this competition is likely to serve as a powerful endorsement for further market expansion.
